My theme today is blondes in red. My favourite blonde in red might be Reese. She wears the colour very very well and is the woman who made me realize my fetish for pretty blonde girls in red clothing or with lips or nails painted scarlet.

I have to be a bit lazy with my theme today because I don’t have as much time to put together a queue tonight as I usually do and because Tumblr keeps erroring out on me tonight, so I’ll probably revisit the theme when I have more time to dedicate to it. Think of today as a fun sexy preview!

Pretty Woman

Before my step mum passed away I spent the last weekend of September in the hospital with her. One morning when I got to the hospital, she and my stepgrandma were watching “Runaway Bride” in the common room while she (barely) ate. I sat down after kissing her hello (she couldn’t be hugged because she was in too much pain), I exclaimed, “Ooh, Runaway Bride, great movie!”. She said, “it’s you”. I thought she was just saying that because she recognized me at that point, until I said how much I liked Julia Roberts and she said again, “it’s you”. I asked what she meant, and she said with a sweetness in her voice, that I always reminded her of Julia Roberts.

I thought that was such a sweet compliment though I’m not sure in what way. I never asked, I didn’t want to make her speak anymore than was necessary. At that point she was on so many drugs she was coherent for a total of 20 minutes a day.

She always loved me. I know she still does. I miss her so fucking much. I miss how she loved me unconditionally and fully, all my flaws too, that she would turn into positives, like my feisty opinion and strong personality. I could never not be the person I am because when at least one person loves you in your entirety, then you must honor that love.

Fuck, I miss her so goddamn much. I look for her everywhere.
